back at the office at 9:30 PM on a Friday night pretending I can actually get caught up from all my time out of the office this past month but I found this the quote “Please wait one hour after uninstalling a previous version of Windows Vista SP1 before installing Windows Vista SP1 RC Refresh.” in the Vista SPI instructions rather amusing. Yes, sometimes I actually read the instructions but only when I’m really bored and waiting on a download.
So am I actually brave enough to install SP1 on my production desktop? Why not? Could It get any worse? ;-) Besides, all of my technicians downgraded their support laptops and desktops last week to XP so somebody has to carry the Kool-Aid stained banner.

Go Ahead Mark, Install it, I have been running it for a while now and it seems really solid. But wait an hour after you eat to start the install. we know how much anticipation can mess with your digestion :>)
