From Building to Burning Bridges

So I wrote yesterday how impressed I was with Microsoft and Level Platforms working together. Unfortunately it looks like not every company shares my views on partnership. Check out Vlad’s blog on Dell and their next move towards desktop domination. You already know how I feel about Dell. Michael Dell swore up and down how he was going to work in partnership with VARs but if there in no margins left on hardware, they offer the installation, they won’t pay us margins on service contracts and warranties, and now they sell the management… where exactly do VARs come in? This should be interesting. If you are a SilverBack customer I wonder how this makes you feel…
