Intel to deliver Managed Services?

Rumors have it, following Dell’s lead, Intel is looking at moving in the Managed Services space by acquiring N-Able. Will this further the commoditization of managed services or bring more value to the N-Able’s 1400 existing partners? While I don’t trust Dell any farther than I can throw them, Intel has not been know for being a competitive threat to it’s VARs and in fact has made valiant attempts at working with SMB VARs while delivering best-in-class hardware. Combine that with N-Able’s proactive partner approach and we may actually have a good combination here.
