Handy Web Site of the Week
October 10, 2007 – 2:02 pmOK, so I don’t normally have a “Handy Web Site of the Week” blog but if I did, this one would win. You Internet veterans have probably already seen this one right up there with Tinyurl.com but for some of us, this one is new.
Check out http://shorttext.com and see how you can paste text then create a short URL that you can share with others. Try it for fun I’ve put this blog there but it only lasts about 24 hours. I used this with Time Warner Tech Support today. I pasted a trace route results into the field then gave the tech the URL and he was able to read the results. Maybe not faster than email but still effective in various tech support situations.
